New article celebrates the inspiring career of Dr. Mark Umbreit, NACRJ’s First Board President

The University of Minnesota’s Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality & Healing published a wonderful article on the impact of Dr. Mark Umbreit’s life and work. In 2013, Dr. Umbreit was elected as the first President of the NACRJ Board of Directors, served two terms in that role, and has had a long and lasting impact on the development of NACRJ. For decades, Dr. Umbreit's dedication to peacebuilding, mindfulness, and restorative justice have inspired his many students and colleagues who describe him as a compassionate leader and role model.
