RJ World e-Conference 2020
DESCRIPTION: RJ World 2020 is a 10 day on-line showcase of inspiring presenters - facilitators, practitioners, teachers, researchers, artists - who are passionate about sharing insights and ideas in the realm of restorative justice and restorative practices in all sectors.
CALL FOR PRESENTERS: The organizers encourage presentations from all countries and fields. The RJ World website will have space for hundreds of presentations, so if you have something significant to say, we want to hear it! Presentations must be video recorded and uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo. Initial submission of narrative proposals are submitted HERE. The deadline is August 7, 2020.
Selected presentations will be pre-recorded and uploaded to either YouTube or Vimeo. Recorded presentations will be accessible to registered attendees.

International Institute for Restorative Practices (IIRP) World Conferences explore the common threads for improving civil society across many disciplines. The program will consist of daily plenary sessions, dozens of dynamic breakout sessions to choose from, a poster session and invaluable networking opportunities.
This conference will explore how restorative practices and related frameworks, such as social emotional learning and community health, broaden our understanding of how to create healthier, more interconnected workplaces, schools, neighborhoods, campuses and other environments.
We welcome presentations on all topics related to the emerging social science of restorative practices, especially:
* Social emotional learning
* Community health
* Equity in education
* Restorative practices in higher education
* Facilitating challenging conversations
* Restorative justice and law
* Research methodology, evaluation results and theory development in these and other emerging topics in restorative practices

The Center for Justice and Peacebuilding at Eastern Mennonite Univesity offers a wide range of training opportunities relevant to restorative and community justice theory and practice. In the summers they offer programs in their Summer Peacebuilding Institute. Training programs are also offered at other times of the year.
