Coalitions cover any collaborative group that serves multiple RJ programs or agencies in a given geographical area (states, state, counties, county). By definition, coalitions do not provide direct restorative services to people, as they operate at a higher, wider networking level.

PRIMARY ACTIVITIES OF COALITION:
Dane County Restorative Justice coalition is a group of interdisciplinary stakeholders who meet regularly to encourage a smooth contiunation of Restorative Justice throughout Dane County. We seek funding opportunities to create and sustain diversionary, intervention programs for youth and adults in school and community settings. We work collaboratively to create educational opportunities for community members and professionals. Finally, the coalition works to create evaluative tools to measure succesful implementation of programs.
MEETING INFORMATION:
The DCRJ Coalition meets on3rd Tuesday of even-numbered months (Feb, April, June, Aug, Oct, Dec) from 2-3:30pm.
PURPOSE / MISSION STATEMENT:
The Dane Restorative Justice Coalition is organized for the purpose of transforming the justice system in schools and communities in Dane County through a social and racial justice lens.
Through education, advocacy, and program evaluation, we aim to establish a continuum of restorative justice practices available from youth into adulthood.
